PDFAlipit ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS mobile application ("App").

4.1 Advertising Network (Appodeal)

PDFAlipit uses Appodeal to serve ads in the free version. Appodeal is an ad network mediation platform that may collect and process data including:

• iOS Advertising ID (IDFA) - only with user consent
• IP address
• App usage information

4.2 Ad Networks Used Through Appodeal on iOS

5.1 Local Storage

All documents you create or import in PDFAlipit are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your files to cloud servers or external services.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Secure local storage on your device
• Regular security updates
• iOS app sandboxing for additional protection

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

• Documents: Your PDFs and images are stored on your device until you delete them
• Usage Data: We retain usage data for up to 90 days to improve the App
• Crash Reports: Retained for 30 days for troubleshooting purposes
• Ad-related Data: Retained by Appodeal and ad networks according to their policies

7. Your Data Control

7.1 Local Data - You Are In Control

Since PDFAlipit does not store your personal data on any servers, you have complete control:

• Delete Everything: All your files and app data are stored only on your device. Delete them anytime.
• Full Transparency: No hidden data collection. All processing happens locally on your device.
• No Profile: We don't maintain any profile about you or your usage.

7.2 Advertising Data (Third-Party)

Appodeal (our ad network) may collect limited device/advertising data. For GDPR/CCPA rights regarding their data, see:

• Opt-Out: Use iOS Settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking) or upgrade to Pro to remove ads completely.

7.3 For EU/California Residents

GDPR & CCPA Note: Since PDFAlipit itself collects no personal data, these regulations apply primarily to third-party services (Appodeal). You can:

• Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
• Clear app data in iOS Settings
• Manage Appodeal's data collection through their privacy portal
• Opt-out of ad tracking in iOS Settings

8. Opt-Out of Personalized Ads (iOS)

You can limit ad tracking on your iOS device by:

• Going to Settings > Privacy > Tracking
• Disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
• Or disabling tracking for PDFAlipit specifically in the per-app tracking settings

You can also reset your Advertising ID:

• Go to Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising
• Tap "Reset Advertising ID"

Opt-Out Completely: Upgrade to Pro ($2.99 one-time purchase) to remove all ads permanently and disable ad tracking.

9. App Store Privacy Labels

Apple requires all apps to disclose their privacy practices through Privacy Labels on the App Store. Our Privacy Labels show:

• Camera access (for document scanning)
• Photos library access (for image import)
• Device identifiers (IDFA for advertising)
• Usage data (for app improvement)
• Crash data

You can view these labels on our App Store listing under "Privacy".

10. Children's Privacy

PDFAlipit is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete such information and terminate the child's account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Privacy Policy means you accept and agree to the changes.
